HookBit is an AI-powered development automation platform that connects GitHub repositories to AI agents for automated code review, issue implementation, and bug fixes.

3. GitHub Integration

By connecting your GitHub account, you authorize HookBit to:

  • Access repository metadata and code
  • Receive webhook notifications for repository events
  • Create pull requests and comments on your behalf (with your explicit permission)
  • Read issue and pull request information

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Comply with GitHub's Terms of Service
  • Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Review AI-generated code before merging into production

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your source code and repositories. HookBit claims no ownership over your code. AI-generated contributions are provided as suggestions and you retain full ownership of any code you choose to merge.

6. Data Processing

We process repository data solely to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect service availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

HookBit is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages resulting from use of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Code quality or functionality of AI-generated suggestions
  • Downtime or service interruptions
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Security incidents beyond our reasonable control

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behavior.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
